Chris Groves
Chris is a lawyer by profession but has played trombone
for the Doncaster Jazz Orchestra for over 13 years. As a trombonist Chris has played throughout the UK and also in France and Germany. He has also featured
on two of the CDs by the Doncaster Jazz Orchestra and shared the stage with the BBC Big Band.
He is also the main vocalist with The Budo Big Band
and is the co-founder with Mark Ellis.
As well as singing at numerous weddings Chris has also sung with CJQ at
Central Park in Doncaster and with the Doncaster Jazz Orchestra at The Earl of Doncaster. Most recently he has sung at the prestigious Sands Venue in Gainsbrough which
has in the past featured major artists from the world of jazz.
